Corydon Central High School proudly announces their fifth annual musical production, Once Upon a Mattress to be performed on February 27, 28, and March 1 at 8 p.m., 8 p.m., and 2 p.m. Loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s lovable tale, The Princess and the Pea, Once Upon a Matress takes delightfully humorous twists and turns from the original story. This promises to be the most exciting musical production to date featuring wonderful, young talent from the South Harrison community, beautifully painted backdrops and scenery, and professional musicians. Special features in this year’s production are new lighting effects, and colorful, handmade costumes depicting the elegance of the Middle Ages. (Partial cast picture can be seen below.)
